Steve Norman, our Commercial Director, completed the 2026 TCS London Marathon last weekend in 4:49:17 and we could not be prouder of him.
Completing a marathon is no small thing, and doing it while carrying an injury from the week before makes it all the more impressive. Steve made it to the start line, kept going for 26.2 miles, and crossed the finish line in fine style. A brilliant effort by anyone's measure.
About The London Marathon
The London Marathon is one of the most iconic events in the world, attracting tens of thousands of runners each year from all walks of life. Alongside the elite athletes crossing the finish line in just over two hours, the real heart of the event is the thousands of people who take it on for causes that matter to them. This year was no different, with participants raising millions for charities across the UK.
Steve's chosen charity
Steve chose to run for Bliss, the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. Their mission is to give every baby born premature or sick in the UK the best chance of survival and quality of life. With one baby admitted to neonatal care every five minutes in the UK, the demand on neonatal services is significant, and Bliss works to make sure no baby or family is left without the support they need.
The charity focuses on ensuring that babies in neonatal care have the best chance of survival, that parents are well supported and actively involved in their baby's care, and that the environments, research and funding behind neonatal healthcare continue to improve. It is important, practical work that makes a real difference to some of the most vulnerable babies and their families.
